Island Roots, Farrin Dreams: Caribbean Immigrant Narratives of the Journey

This project uses the authentic narrative method to amplify the immigration journey stories of Caribbean immigrants to the United States. Phase One of the project featured the narratives of five immigrants from Haiti, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago. Their stories were compiled into a documentary film and shared as part of a museum exhibit. Visit the project website to learn more about the study.
We are currently recruiting for Phase Two. Eligible participants include 1st-generation immigrants, aged 18-69, from the Caribbean and Latin America. See the flyer below.
